The Aguerooooooooo! Puma and Manchester City’s NFT
Manchester City and Puma are releasing a commemorative NFT to mark the 10th anniversary of one of the most thrilling kicks in the history of the Premier League.
“93:20” refers to the time it took Sergio Aguero to snag the title from Manchester United with an incredible sequence of play that culminated with the ball hitting the back of the net with 93 minutes and 20 seconds left on the clock.
Belgian visual artist Musketon’s 1/1 NFT takes a unique approach to capturing the essence of the historic occasion, with clockwork cogs and Manchester City artwork serving as its most prominent aspects.
Sergio Aguero’s memorable goal in 2012 was scored when he was wearing a pair of PUMA v1.11 football boots, despite the fact that the current kit suppliers of Manchester City, Puma, were not involved with the club at the time.
Puma ULTRA football boots, each with a special 93:20 logo on the outside and the renowned ‘Agueroooooo!’ line on the footbed, have been released in a limited quantity of 120 pairs, thanks to the coincidence of Martin Tyler’s memorable ‘Manchester City are still alive here’ commentary. Additionally, the NFT’s owner will receive a pair of special edition footwear.
To commemorate the historic footballing moment, MakersPlace NFT will release the 93:20 NFT on Friday 13th May 2022.
