Launch of Virtual World by BAYC Band “Kingship” with Key Card NFTs
Ten22PM’s 10:22 PM subsidiary 10:22 PM, which is a virtual band of Universal Music Group’s subsidiary known as Kingship, is developing a virtual world for its degen rock followers. The launch of ‘Key Card’ NFTs will accompany the new universe, allowing fans to dive deeper into the lives of the virtual band’s four Bored Apes (or five, if you count Bored Ape #5537 ‘Manager Not All’) and one Mutant Ape.
Ten thousand NFTs (key cards) will be given away, each serving as an access key to the band’s songs, NFT-gated experiences as well as other sections of the virtual rockstar world.
The first batch of Key Card NFTs will go on sale on May 14th at a price of 0.19 ETH (about $455). On May 16th, they will be available for purchase by the general public at a much higher price of 0.3 ETH (about $720).
NFT holders of Doodles, SupDuck, and World of Women can now join the mint’s allowlist in addition to those who own Bored and Mutant Apes, according to a statement from the band.
10:22 PM’s Celine Joshua says that launching a collection of NFTs that are “access-enabled” is just the beginning of her project’s “limitless roadmap ambitions”: “This is only the beginning of our roadmap for an expansive world that will provide this community with the incredible journey and interactive stories.”
